MATERIA FELLOWSHIP | HAYSTACK MOUNTAIN SCHOOL OF CRAFTS

MATERIA is thrilled to have sponsored our first annual MATERIA FELLOWSHIP at the Haystack Mountain School of Craft on Deer Isle, ME in 2024.

The Haystack Fellowship Program is a highly competitive opportunity supporting individuals participating in summer workshops at the School. Haystack assembles independent committees to select awards through a competitive review process.

Fellowship recipients are provided with support for tuition, room and board (dorm accommodations - the cost difference to upgrade to a different housing is the responsibility of the individual), and a monetary award. Fellowship students are responsible for other expenses, including travel, shop fees, and studio materials.

Students receiving a fellowship award for summer workshops must be 18 years of age or older.

Fellowship applicants will pay a nonrefundable application fee of $30 at the submission of their SlideRoom application.
